Linn County is in the center of the Willamette Valley, with the Willamette River as its western boundary and the crest of the Cascades as its eastern boundary. The current courthouse was built in 1940 adjacent to earlier courthouses. Linn County consists of five elected circuit court judges.

New case filings, fee deferrals, and fee waivers are accepted M - F (excluding legal holidays): 8:00AM - 11:30AM, 1:00PM - 4:30PM

Cutoff time for accepting Bail Payments at the Courthouse (card only) is 4:15PM, M - F (excluding legal holidays.) After 4:15PM, Bail Payments will need to be made at the Jail.

Restraining Orders and Stalking Orders must be filed no later than 8:30AM M - F (excluding legal holidays)
