Family Law COVID-19 Alert
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, not all counties are processing motions to modify family law judgments in the usual manner. In particular, motions to modify child support or spousal support may be handled differently. You may file your motion to modify, but if a hearing is needed, it may not be held until after the COVID-19 court restrictions have been lifted. Some courts provide their own Order to Show Cause, so check the information for your local county to get the right form. Please visit our
Court Information page for contact information for the court in your county. Each court’s website will contain more COVID-19 information for your county.

Welcome. The OJD Family Law website provides information about family law services and resources in Oregon and offers statewide forms for use in family law proceedings. If you don't have a lawyer you should check with your local court or facilitator to find out whether the local court will accept these forms and to learn about local rules and requirements.
Family law cases can be complicated. Family Law Program staff cannot provide legal advice. If you need an attorney, please contact the Oregon State Bar Lawyer Referral, or 1-800-452-7636. For more information on low-cost legal help, please visit our Family Law Self-Help Center.
