Jackson County Circuit Court is excited to announce you can now receive text messages for hearing reminders and updates.
If your cell phone number is associated with your case, you can receive text message hearing notifications for all non-confidential cases where you are party on a case. By providing an active cell phone number to the court you will receive a confirmation text. If you accept, you will be able to receive:
- Hearing reminders (provided 7 days and 1 day before your court hearing); and
- Hearing updates (such as scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled hearings).

Please Note: You will not receive notifications for confidential cases hearings such as juvenile delinquency, juvenile dependency, and civil commitment cases. Also, hearing notifications are not sent for arraignment hearings in criminal and violation cases or initial hearings in protective order cases.
