The XPLEA Program aims to address the serious public safety concerns, treatment needs, and personal accountability of an individual who is usually facing their first DUII conviction after a prior diversion (or someone with a DUII charge who is not eligible for diversion). XPLEA conditions include 2 years’ Monitored Misdemeanor Probation, No drugs or alcohol during probation, evaluation and treatment for drug and alcohol problems and 80 hours of community service as well as fines and fees (which vary according to the circumstances of the case).
