Instructions
Please dress appropriately when you come for jury duty. Do not wear:
- Shorts
- Tank tops
- Hats
- Work uniforms
You cannot bring electronic devices into the courthouse. This includes:
- Cell phones
- E‑readers
- Smart watches
- Tablets or notebook computers
Security will not allow certain items inside. Do not bring:
- Firearms
- Vapes
- Pocketknives
- Scissors
- Any sharp objects
All jurors must go through a metal detector. Security may take any prohibited items.
If you need to be excused on a certain day during your jury service month, call the jury clerk at least 24 hours before your juror number is scheduled to appear.
If you are summoned to report and you do not show up for jury duty, the court may order you to appear before the presiding judge.
