If payment arrangements have not been made within 14 days, you must send a letter to the Appellate Court Records Office advising that you have not begun preparation of the transcript because no payment agreement has been reached. Include with that letter a copy of the letter sent to the attorney(s) or party(s) requesting payment for the appeal transcript.
If the payment or payment arrangement is not made by the attorney(s) or party(s) requesting the transcript on appeal, you are not required to prepare a transcript.
Yes. All transcribers who wish to file transcripts in the Appellate Court must have a complete Certificate of Compliance form on file with the court. Below is a button that will take you to the Certificate of Compliance form. Once the court receives the completed Certificate of Compliance form, the transcriber will be added to the case as the official transcriber. The transcriber will also be added to the court’s case management system and will be allowed to file transcripts on any case they are assigned to.
The appellate court requires all eTranscripts (electronically filed transcripts) to be filed with the correct naming convention.The naming convention is a way for all eTranscripts to be organized and filed in a unified manner. Below are samples of the naming conventions for both Non-Confidential and Confidential cases.
