The Commercial Court Program was implemented in Lane County Circuit Court on October 1, 2006. The Commercial Court is designed to handle commercial disputes that would be burdensome to the normal docket of the court. Any party may file a motion to have a case assigned to the Commercial Court. The court, on its own motion, may assign a case to the Commercial Court. The presiding judge or their designee will hear the motion.
