Welcome to Jury Duty for the Yamhill Circuit Court. Your service as a juror is one of the most important things you will do in participating in our system of government and ensuring justice in your community. We hope to make your experience as rewarding as possible and we thank you for your willingness to take the time to serve your community.
Some jurors are selected to serve on a grand jury. Grand Jurors listen to evidence and testimonies of witnesses presented by the District Attorney and determine whether someone should be charged with a crime. Grand Jurors serve one day per week for three months.

Jury Call In information is updated daily at around 4:00 p.m. on the business day immediately preceding each scheduled jury trial. If you are currently serving as a juror, you may obtain daily call in and reporting instructions in two ways: call in or online check in. If you choose to call in, call the Jury Recording number each night during your term of service at 1.877.201.3937. If you prefer checking online, you can check by visiting the Online Jury Call information page.
Most jurors serve on jury trials. Jury trials are held for criminal and civil cases. Most jury trials last one or two days, but occasionally take longer. The Court makes every effort to effectively use juror’s time and only call jurors to report for service when trials certain to go forward. The term of service for Trial Jurors is one month.
