Traffic Citations

First, confirm the court location listed on your citation is Union County Circuit Court. If any other court is listed, you will need to contact that court directly.

If court location is Union County Circuit Court, read your citation thoroughly. This is the only notice you will receive prior to the appearance date listed on your citation and you will find options for entering a plea and what that requires.

If you need further assistance, please contact the Union County Circuit Court Traffic Department at 541-962-9500 Option 2, 2.

For eligible citations, you can enter a “no contest” plea and use the ePay option to pay your traffic citation in full online at www.courts.oregon.gov
  • You will enter the Complaint/Summons number located in the upper right-hand corner of your citation. Note: For weighmaster citations, you will need to include the “WM” in front of your complaint/Summons number.
You can also enter a plea and make payment by contacting the Union County Circuit Court Traffic Department at 541-962-9500 Option 2, 2.

Some citations may be eligible for fine reduction through the ePay system – follow the instructions above for “Can I pay my traffic ticket without going to court” to determine if your citation is eligible.

If your citation is not eligible for reduction through ePay, you may contact the Union County Circuit Court Traffic Department to discuss eligibility and options at 541-962-9500 Option 2, 2.

Important:  This is for citations filed into Union County Circuit Court Only.  Please check the court location listed on your citation prior to proceeding as we cannot determine eligibility for any other court. If any other court is listed, you must contact that court directly for any traffic school related questions.

The Traffic School Program is a traffic course that, if eligible, may result in the dismissal of minor traffic violations in lieu of a conviction on your record – court approval MUST be obtained. To determine eligibility contact the Union County Circuit Court Traffic Department at 541-962-9500 Option 2, 2.
