Wi-Fi Access

The courthouse has a limited Guest Wi-Fi network. The OJD Guest Wi-Fi is provided by the Oregon Judicial Department and is intended for simple tasks like email and news. Please do not stream audio and/or video as this will limit the access for other Guest Wi-Fi users. The Court does not provide technical support for Guest Wi-Fi connections.

Video Conference

If you wish to use the Court’s video conferencing system for a Court appearance, you must obtain the Judge's permission and file a written request with the Court Administrators office (at WSH-CourtEquipment.Requests@ojd.state.or.us) at least two (2) business days prior to the hearing or trial date. If the connection desired is outside of the OJD’s state network, ten (10) business days advance notice is required. Video conferencing equipment is limited and only available on a first come basis. The written request must include:

  • Case name and number
  • Requestor's name and Bar Number, if applicable
  • Courtroom if known
  • Date(s) and time(s) of testimony
  • IP Address for the remote site video connection
  • Contact name and phone number for remote site
  • Requested method for video conference

There are two methods for conducting a video conference:

OJD Polycom to outside Polycom or compatible device.

For connections outside of OJD’s state network, arrangements will need to be made for testing the connection prior to the Court date. The requesting party may make advance arrangements between the Court Administrators office and external site to test the connection. Please allow for ten (10) business days between date of the request and time of hearings for testing to take place.

Virtual Conference Room

A virtual conference room can be created which parties can connect to, using a personal computer or a smart phone.
