General Information

Some hearings are held with some parties not physically present in the courtroom. Case parties and attorneys can participate in these hearings from a computer, tablet smartphone, or telephone (subject to some limitations).

Receiving Notice of a Remote Hearing

When you are scheduled for a remote hearing, you will receive information about how to join that hearing through a hearing notice and/or an email from the court.

You should always refer to your hearing notice for the most up-to-date information about your scheduled hearing.

 Information for Case Participants

Lane County Circuit Court uses Webex to host video conference hearings and will provide case participants with the link to join the hearing. For first-time Webex users, we recommend using the Webex Test Meeting prior to your remote hearing to ensure that you meet the hardware, software, and internet connection minimum requirements.

You can also view videos describing the overall process of remote videoconference court hearings in the statewide court webpage on remote hearings.
