FAQ

Josephine County Circuit Court offers a Work Alternative Program in partnership with Josephine County Community Corrections. Eligibility for the program must be reviewed individually.

Please contact the Accounting Unit at 541-476-2309 or visit the accounting service window during business hours for additional information and eligibility information.

If you wish to post bail for someone who is in custody in Josephine County Jail please do so at the following locations:

Josephine County Jail
1901 NE F Street
Grants Pass OR 97526

Court business hours only (Monday-Friday 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm)

Josephine County Courthouse
500 NW 6th Street - 2nd Floor
Grants Pass OR 97526

Bail/security is only accepted in the form of cash at both locations.

Security funds (bail) are held until the case that it was posted on is resolved (sentenced, dismissed, etc.). Once the case is resolved, funds are applied to outstanding fines and fees. Following disbursement, you may be eligible for a refund, minus the statutory fee.

Unless specifically authorized by the court, all court fines and fees are due within 30 days to avoid an additional one-time “payment schedule assessment” fee.

Failure to pay court fines and fees in full may result in additional collections fees as well as license sanctions.
