Court Records Requests

Most court records are available to the public. Court staff is responsible for maintaining all documents in the local court files and assists the public with requests for copies of court documents. Record requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis.

Audio Copy of Court Proceedings Requests

We use a state of the art digital recording system. Digital copies of audio recordings will be electronically transferred using digital technology through a secure website unless otherwise specified. Other methods are burning the record to a CD.

To Obtain Copies of Court Files or Proceedings

You may also call in your request depending on the county that you need it from.

If you call, be prepared to answer the questions on the request form.

Court staff will figure the total cost after the request is made. If copies are being mailed, postage costs will be added. If you are in the local calling area, staff will call to inform you of the cost. If you are out of the area, you must call the court to ascertain the cost. All fees must be paid in full before any copies will be made. Payment of the fees can be made by check, cash, cashier check, money order, Visa, or Mastercard.
