The purpose of the Benton County Juvenile Court is to assure that a minor within the Court’s jurisdiction is provided with the care and services that best meets his/her needs.
The clerk for all Juvenile matters is located in Room 106.
Juvenile matters are confidential. If you are inquiring about a case you must be a party to the case and show picture identification before any information will be shared.
A juvenile dependency matter is most often based on allegations that a child’s condition or circumstances are such as to endanger the child’s welfare.
A juvenile delinquency matter is most often based on allegations that the child committed an act that if committed by an adult would constitute a crime.
A child is a person under 18 years of age.
