Parent education classes help parents learn about the many issues children face when their family structure changes. These classes focus on:
- how to help children adjust to a divorce or separation,
- how to help children adjust to living apart from a parent, and
- skills to help separated parents learn how to co-parent successfully.
Many counties in Oregon require parents to complete a parent education class before a judgment can be entered in cases involving child custody and parenting time. Please contact your local court for more details.
