Date: Saturday, November 7th, 2026
Exam Times: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Exam Location: Salem, Oregon. Final location details will be available after registration closes.
Fee: Oregon Residents - $65.00; non-residents - $195.00
Eligibility: Registrants must speak a language that is available for the Oregon Certified Court Interpreter Credential (PDF)

Registration Process
Candidates must complete the online registration form, the Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) Record Check, and pay the appropriate fee by 3:00 PM on Monday, November 2nd, 2026. Registration fees are non-refundable barring exceptional circumstances or if registration has closed. Appointment changes will not be allowed after 3:00 PM on Monday, November 2nd.
About the Exam
The Written Exam consists of 135 questions. The questions will cover: English language, court related terms and usage, ethics, and professional conduct. The required criminal history check is conducted to ensure that there are no barriers to holding the Oregon Certified Court Interpreter Credential. Candidates must pass the Written Exam before they are eligible to take the Oral Exam.
