Collection Fees
Oregon law (ORS 1.202) and Chief Justice Order 21-043 requires the court to add a $25.00 fee to EACH case for which a payment plan has been requested by the debtor and that is expected to extend longer than 12 months.
Failure to pay your case in full or maintain monthly payments could result in your debt being sent to an outside collection agency. If this happens the court will add a collection fee of 28% automatically.
For fish and wildlife related crimes or violations – the court will notify the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife if you do not maintain your monthly payments. Your hunting and fishing privileges may be suspended, and you may be unable to apply for a new license or tag.
Payment Plans
You can use “Guide & File" interactive online form to apply for a payment plan. You will need to submit an application at each court if you have cases at different circuit courts. Interview for Payment Plan.
Please use the following link to print the payment plan form and bring it to the court for review. Clackamas Payment Plan Agreement
You may come to the court to apply for a payment plan in person or contact the court by telephone to establish a payment plan.
You can sign up to receive a courtesy text message reminder before your payment is due (standard text messaging and data rates apply). You will need to complete a Payment Plan Application, check the “YES" box, and provide your cell phone number.
