State courts have several ways for you to make payments. To avoid added charges or the suspension of your drivers license, be sure to keep your payments up to date.
Money judgments are due in full on the date the judgment is entered. If you cannot pay your fines and/or fees in full you may qualify for a payment plan.
For information on being set up on a payment plan please contact the court. You can use OJD's iForms site to fill out and print a Payment Plan Application.
Please note that:Pursuant to Chief Justice Order 21-003, a $50.00 fee will be added to each case for which a payment plan has been requested by the debtor and that is expected to extend longer than 12 months.
Failure to comply with your payment plan could result in your debt being sent to a collection agency. If that occurs, a collections referral fee (28% of your outstanding debt) will be added.
The court does NOT send monthly payment reminders without your permission. You can choose to receive courtesy text message reminders before your payment is due (standard text messaging and data rates apply) by checking the "yes" box and providing your cell phone number on the Payment Plan Application.
