Approved Uniform Trial Court Rules (UTCR) changes are effective August 1 each year unless the Chief Justice specifies a different effective date, usually in the case of out-of-cycle amendments. The adopted UTCR will be posted here no less than 49 days before their effective date, unless the Chief Justice orders otherwise.
