STATE PROTECTIVE PROCEDINGS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

MISSION STATEMENT

The SPPAC exists to improve and develop court programs, policies, and resources to support consistent outcomes, increase supports to stakeholders, and promote the well-being of protected persons.

The SPPAC is an OJD advisory committee that meets quarterly to review and address issues related to court management and monitoring of guardianship, conservatorship, and other protective proceedings. Past projects have included development of court visitor training videos, COVID hearing protocol for protective proceedings, and data tracking tools to learn more about Oregon's guardianship and conservatorship cases.
