It's helpful to keep a list of all the names of the important people related to your case:
- Judge
- District Attorney (prosecutor)
- Juvenile Defense Attorney (your lawyer)
- Juvenile Court Counselor (JCC)
If your matter is handled informally, outside of court, you will likely only be working with a Juvenile Court Counselor (JCC) and possibly a lawyer that the court appointed to represent you, if you haven’t hired your own. Make sure you save their contact information so that you can find it easily.
