OJD Courts ePay Terms and Conditions

By using the OJD Courts ePay website to either request a reduction of a violation citation fine or to make a payment on an eligible case or citation, you agree to the following:

  • You agree to follow all statutes, rules, and court orders regarding the electronic payment of financial obligations owed on cases and accounts.
  • The OJD Courts ePay system may, from time to time, be unavailable due to regularly scheduled maintenance or due to unexpected system problems.  The courts disclaim any liability due to the unavailability of the electronic payment system.
  • You accept responsibility for ensuring that your equipment is compatible with the requirements of the OJD Courts ePay system.
  • By checking the box to request a fine reduction, you request and consent to OJD staff reviewing your driving history and, if eligible, offering a reduction consistent with applicable laws, rules, and court orders.  If it is determined that you are eligible for a reduction, the court will apply the amount of the reduction to your outstanding balance on the case when you do the following:
    • (1) assert that you are the defendant in the case,
    • (2) enter a no contest plea,
    • (3) waive your right to a trial, and
    • (4) agree to pay the balance of the money owed on the case using OJD Courts ePay system.
  • To make a payment on a citation for a violation using OJD Courts ePay system, you must enter a no contest plea to the offenses in your citation. By entering a no contest plea, you are asserting that you are the defendant in the case. When you enter a no contest plea, you waive your right to a trial and acknowledge that you will be found guilty of the offenses in this case.
