You can use the Oregon Judicial Department (OJD) Courts ePay website to pay many types of court cases, citations for violations, and accounts with a credit or debit card.* When you use the OJD Courts ePay, you agree to the following:

  • You agree to follow all statutes, rules, and court orders regarding the electronic payment of financial obligations owed on cases and accounts.
  • OJD Courts ePay may, from time to time, be unavailable due to regularly scheduled maintenance or due to unexpected system problems. The courts are not liable for any unavailability of OJD Courts ePay.
  • You are responsible for making sure that your payment was processed.
  • You agree to pay a $1.50 processing fee for each payment you make through OJD Courts ePay.
  • If you are using OJD Courts ePay to pay a citation for a violation, you also agree to the following:
    • If this is your first payment on a citation for a violation and you have not entered a plea, you must enter a no contest plea to the offenses in your citation. By entering a no contest plea, you are asserting the following:
      • You are the defendant in the case.
      • You waive your right to a trial.
      • You acknowledge that you will be found guilty of the violations in the citation.
    • If you check the box asking for a fine reduction, you agree that OJD staff can review your driving history and determine if you are eligible for a reduction. If you are eligible for a reduction, the court will apply the amount of the reduction to your outstanding balance on the citation when you do the following:
      • (1) assert that you are the defendant in the case,
      • (2) enter a no contest plea,
      • (3) waive your right to a trial, and
      • (4) agree to pay the balance of the money owed on the citation.

*OJD Courts ePay accepts Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express. OJD Courts ePay does NOT accept payments for cases in Municipal, County, and Justice courts. These are "local" courts outside the OJD court system. Check your paperwork or citation for your “local” court contact information.
