Uniform Trial Court Rules (UTCR)

The Uniform Trial Court Rules (UTCR) are statewide rules that apply in each of Oregon’s 36 circuit courts.  The UTCR promote the just, speedy and inexpensive resolution of cases, the efficient use of court resources and a uniform, consistent practice across the state.

Supplementary Local Court Rules (SLR)

The SLR are rules that govern local practice in Oregon’s circuit courts.  These rules vary by judicial district, but must be consistent with the UTCRs, the Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure, and state law.
