The Oregon Court of Appeals has adopted rules called the Oregon Rules of Appellate Procedure or "ORAP." The ORAPs contain, among other things, filing deadlines, format requirements for filings, eFiling rules, and procedures for oral argument before the court.

The rules also govern procedures in the Oregon Supreme Court, including the process for asking the Supreme Court to review a decision of the Court of Appeals. The rules are subject to comprehensive amendment effective January 1 of each odd-numbered year. The court may adopt temporary rules in the interim.  Both the most recent comprehensive set of rules and all subsequent temporary amendments are available here.
