Going to Court - Home

If you are coming to court, please confirm the date, time and courtroom on the document requiring your appearance.  That document could be a citation, conditional release agreement, court order or court notice.  If you cannot find your notice, you may search for your court date by your name up to 30 days in advance by visiting the Court Calendars page.  Please make sure your appearance is at the Lincoln County Courthouse and not at a Municipal Court.

Court proceedings are listed on the scrolling dockets located outside each courtroom, and on the second and third floors. If you do not find your name you can ask at the Trial Court Administrator’s Office Rm 202 on the second floor.

You may enter the courtroom as soon as the door is unlocked.

Please turn off all cell phones, as they interfere with our recording equipment.

Food and beverages are not permitted in the courtrooms.

The courtrooms are equipped with sensitive digital recording equipment and any conversation may be recorded.

Courthouse Security

You will be required to go through a security checkpoint when entering the Courthouse.  Weapons of any kind are not permitted, including pocket knives, leatherman tools, etc.  Please allow extra time when entering the building.
