HOURS OF OPERATION

The Courthouse is open Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Documents for filing and payments, and other court related transactions will be received during those hours as indicated below. 

The operational unit's public service counters and customer service telephone lines will be open to the public as follows:

• Civil Case Unit, Accounting Unit, Traffic Unit, Collections Unit and Records Management Unit will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
  
• The Criminal Unit and the Calendaring Unit will be open for walk-in customers from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Telephones are staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.
  
• Jury Services will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

The "Drop Box", which is located on the "Employee Only" door to Room 104, may be used to submit pleadings, other documents for filing, and payments anytime during regular courthouse hours.  Any filings and payments placed in the "Drop Box" no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, will be date stamped and deemed received and filed on that day.

Trials, hearings and settlement conferences are heard on each day of the week as set by the Calendaring Unit.

The Court will continue to accept documents for filing, payments and other court related transactions through the mail.

Payments made telephonically with a credit card will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

COURT FURLOUGH DAY CLOSURES 

Chief Justice Order (CJO) #11-033 ordering 9 statewide court closure days for the 2011-13 biennium may be viewed by clicking here.  The dates for court closures coincide with 9 of the 10 executive branch closure dates, starting with November 25, 2011.  Pursuant to CJO #11-033 Clackamas County Circuit Court operations will close on the following days for employee furloughs:

 LOCATION

Effective Saturday, January 15, 2011, the Oregon City/West Linn arch bridge on Oregon 43, will be closed to all traffic.  This closure is expected to last two years while the bridge is being repaired.  For more information about the bridge closure, go to the Oregon Department of Transportation website.

PARKING

Please be aware that the parking available in the area around the courthouse will be impacted by the bridge closure and repair work being done.

There are several parking options in the downtown Oregon City area.  Please go to the Oregon City Downtown Parking Information page or view the attached Downtown Parking Zones map which shows what is available and where it is located.   Parking can sometimes be difficult to find.  Please allow extra time for finding parking.
